The withered away edges show it's shape holding it close makes you realize nothing ever lasts. No situation is ever permanent the model looks like she is in deep thought perhaps an event she refuses to let go in the realization just because you let something go doesn't change the fact that it happened. Granted an occurrence is an opportunity to explore or, pure self analysis. Could it be more than a simple rose? Is a rose really that simple?
